Lumination Youth

A New Community.

We are committed to raising a generation of youths that have a strong Biblical foundation for life in Christ. Teaching and preaching of God’s Word and Bible life groups aim to equip young people to live as a redeemed community that is lead by God. Programs include fun activities, praise and worship and networking to allow new friendships to form.

While Gareth and Lauren are on Sabbatical (1 July – 30 Sept 2024)

Lauren and I are going to be on sabbatical from July – September. We have made arrangements for other people to lead teens on Friday nights and Sunday mornings. How this affects teenss:

On Friday Nights:

28 June & 7 July: No Friday Teens
July – 12, 19, 26 July – Teens will be hosted at the Ritchies House – please contact the church 011 318 2481 or email info@christchurchmidrand.co.za to get an address or contact details
August – No Friday Teens
September – Every Friday at Roydon and Joan Frosts House – please contact the church 011 318 2481 or email info@christchurchmidrand.co.za to get an address or contact details

On Sunday Mornings:

Sunday 30 June and 9 July: No Sunday Teens
Month of July up until 4 August – Sunday mornings will be looked after by Jason and Frances Brudvig*
From 4 August until the end of August – No Teens
September – Every Sunday will be looked after by Peter and Rosie Moore*

Regular Meet ups

Below is the awesome regular things we get up to. We don’t only do programmes and often hang out on a whim, but get involved in the below, make friends and we can hang out more often.

18h00 – 20h30

The heart and soul of our youth is Friday Night. We’re really just a group of friends that want to grow in Jesus and gain new friends. Come hang with us!

09h30 – 11ish

We usually join the rest of the church for the first bit of the service as, hey, we’re a church family! Plus the singing is awesome. Then we move over to our own venue where we split into grades 8 – 9 and 10 – 12 as it’s a bit more cosy. We like cosy!
