What’s Your Story?

Everybody has a story. Some are good and some are bad. Some are just messy! Whatever your story is, you are not at the end yet. There are still blank pages and chapters to be written. The question is, are your upcoming pages looking bright? Can you be certain that the words to come will be words of hope?

From the 27th of September through to 4 October, we’ll be hosting a week of events, services, online content, small groups discussions and more, to help you embed that hope into the rest of your story.

What’s their story? People Jesus met

Do you know Jesus?

Do you know children?

Do you know children who don’t know Jesus?

Whether you’re a gogo or an uncle, a sister or a friend we all know children who don’t know Jesus.
We would like to encourage and partner with you as you share the good news of Jesus with them.

1)      Pray – ask God to help you think of children you have been in contact with during these unusual times

2)      Plan about how you could safely get some time with them to talk about Jesus – Zoom/Whatsapp call/local park

3)      Be realistic! Think of one child you know, or your child knows and how to reach them for 25 mins – Each one – Reach one!

4)      Download the resources from the website for ‘People Jesus met’

5)      Read and pray through the resources – choose what will suit you

6)      Ask a friend to pray for you

7)      Meet with the child and spend some time talking about Jesus and the people He met using the resources

8)      Share how it went with your friend or life group

9)      If it went really well, do it again next week!

And: if they are in Grade R-5 invite them to join us for Kids on Saturday on Zoom or in Gr 6&7 then invite them to Join us at CrossRoads on Saturday on Zoom.

Keep an eye on this page and use the share links at the bottom of your screen to invite others!!
