Planting Sunday Schools in Tembisa
As part of our church DNA, which is “Redeemed Family of Servants on a Mission” (Click here for more), Reach 60 is one of the avenues for us to fulfil our mission of reaching the lost. We do this by planting and partnering with Sunday schools in Tembisa. For God has sent us to reach out to all nations with the Gospel.
Children are valuable part of God’s Kingdom. Through this program, we hope to grow Sunday Schools by finding those willing to teach God’s children. We will walk along side these people and help them in creating a strong and sustainable Sunday Schools.
OUR MISSION
OUR GOALS
To plant 60 Sunday schools in the community of Thembisa. Our hope is that churches and youth groups will grow out of these planted Sunday Schools.
OUR STORY
REACH EQUIP
For the Sunday schools we plant and the Sunday schools we partner with, we provide monthly training through Reach Equip. The goal is to help them be well prepared for teaching the bible to children faithfully and confidently.
The content we cover is biblical theology, practical teaching methods as well as general topics relevant to children’s ministry. The course runs for two years, after which each student is awarded a certificate upon completion.
