The Lord’s Prayer

Bible Reading: Luke 11:1 – 4.

Dr David Seccombe speaks from Luke’s Gospel on the Lord’s prayer. He shows how this teaching from Jesus equips us to pray with greater clarity and focus. He reminds us that we have access to God our Father through Jesus. We pray for our Father’s name to receive the honour He deserves.

We also pray that we would enjoy the benefits of a relationship with the Father in Heaven now as we mirror his forgiveness of us by forgiving others. We ask Him to protect us from facing anything that will draw us away from Him.
