Project Description
A King is Born
Preacher: Sibusiso Mdluli
Bible Reading: Luke 2:8 – 21
Robert Mugabe made a substantial impact on Zimbabwe. It may have been negative, but a parent named their child ‘Resignation’ when he gave up his power, so surely he made an impact? In today’s sermon, we look at the impact Christ made when He was born. He was born a king and He was God. His birth holds such significance in that this king would cause people to change their lives for him, to sacrifice for him. It may be a world full of rules and structure, but it is also a world under which we flourish.
Apart from seeing Jesus as a God who is the king, we need to see him as the example as well. What kind of example do we see in his birth? This sermon highlights the great and powerful, yet humbling story of Jesus coming to the world.
