6. Why I Love Jesus & You Should Too

The sermon, based on Luke 18:9-14, contrasts the Pharisee’s self-righteousness with the humility of the tax collector. Jesus teaches that those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and the humble will be exalted. The key message is that true righteousness comes from a heart of humility before God, not from outward appearances or self-righteousness. It emphasizes that prayer reveals one’s heart and attitude toward God.
