Project Description

2. Why I love Jesus & You Should Too

Series: A Passion for the Christ
Preacher: Martin Morrison
Bible Reading: Philippians 1: 18b-26
Date: 02 October 2022

In Philippians 1v18B – 26, we learn that Paul is in Prison when he writes this letter, that his imprisonment is for Christ and Christ’s glory. Paul was arrested falsely, on trumped up charges. He is in the worst possible situation a person could be in, in this time of the world. Jails and prisons were hell on earth. Yet he still continues his work of Christ.

Paul knows that God is sovereign and King, and that what has happened is for God’s glory. Paul, even though he lost so much, has kept his focus on Christ and to execute his duties of expanding the Kingdom of God, no matter the situation. No matter the situation we are in, look at Paul’s situation, God can use us for good, remember “For me to live is Christ, to die is gain!”

Join Pastor Martin as he faithfully unpacks Philippians 1v18B-26, and we learn the true meaning of these Bible verses.
