From beginning to end the bible is against racism, for all people were made in his image, his redemption is open to all races and one day, every knee, no matter its colour, will bow before God. Therefore, the bible does not agree with racism. How are we then to deal with the problem of racism if the bible doesn’t think it should be around?
In this sermon, Roydon Frost looks at the parable Jesus tells of the good Samaritan. Jesus’ use of the story is to show that love transcends all barriers, even race. The point that Jesus is trying to make with the parable, and the point that Roydon wants us all to see in the story, is that there is a solution to racism. It’s a radical form of love.
