Prayer Ministry
After the 9.30am and 6.00pm services there is a prayer room where you can pray with a team member or ask them to pray for you.
Pastoral Care
For the most part, pastoral care takes place within the various Growth Groups that meet all over Gauteng on a weekly basis. For those not involved in a regular growth group, we have a team of volunteers and staff who do hospital and house visitation in times of need.
Catering
Whenever we meet, there is always food and so catering plays a very big part in the life of our church. Whether serving tea and filter coffee after services, regular Sunday evening suppers and 'Not the 6 o'clock services' or bigger events, food is a great way to build community. We have teams of people who volunteer to cater all of the above functions.
Prayer Chain
We have a very active group of people who are committed to praying for the church and it's members and the various ministries in which we are involved as a church.
Christ Church Pantry
Many of our people make meals suitable for freezing which we distribute to those in need. It may be because of a recent birth in the family or even a bereavement or long term illness. Whatever the reason, we try to make feeding the family one less thing to worry about.
Counseling
We have an experienced team of volunteer and professional counselors available to assist with a broad range of life issues including, pre-marriage counseling, in-marriage counseling, divorce recovery, post-traumatic stress related issues and substance abuse.
