Running the Christian Race

Being a Christian can be both rewarding and tough. Thankfully the bible does not give a false pretence by describing Christianity as a bed of roses and in fact gives great wisdom on how to navigate the often murky waters. Hayley Tubman is not new to our pulpit and, as many women will attest to, is an incredibly gifted bible teacher. This year she opened up Hebrews, expounding how the author of the book both encourages and exhorts us to live the Christian life.

On this page you will find all the sermons that Hayley preached in both video and audio format. If you really enjoy one or more of the sermons, why not share with a friend? Select any sermon and you will find share links at the bottom left of your screen.

Carrie Sandom’s talks from last year…

“A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.”

Charles Haddon Spurgeon

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11: 28 – 30

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis

If you’re not part of a life group, you should be. Christians are not saved to live alone, we’re saved into a family (Ephesians 1:1 – 14). Why not sign up to a life group?
