Roydon Frost is a Minister at Christ Church Midrand who, although he does not play an instrument, cares about worship, church music and liturgy. He will share from God’s Word on these issues.

Rob Booth is the Director of Music and Media at St James Kenilworth. He will speak on the importance of the relationship between the Senior Pastor, the Music Director and the Congregation. If you’re wondering what a Music Director is and who needs one anyway, be sure to catch this talk.

David Kobedi is a Minister at Christ Church Midrand and heads up the evening service, where music plays a significant role in attracting young students.

Vusi Radebe (now Music Director at Hope Church) will join David in sharing some of the ups and downs in the journey to growing a new church demographic and the role music has played. Vusi will also introduce you to some of his original church music.

Bronwen Anderson has been the Music Director at Christ Church Midrand since 2002. She is a pianist and vocalist. She will share her practical church music experience, she’ll cover how to encourage great congregational singing as well as the journey from doing almost everything herself to having a team of 70… and then 30 volunteers.

Devon Hore is the Music Director at Christ Church Umhlanga. He is also a professional drummer. He will uncover the tension between being a professional drummer and a professional church musician.

Gareth Maggs (Curate, Sound and Social Media) will join Bronwen and Rob in exploring some of the practicalities of sound, media, lights and lyrics.
